Edmund Tai is the CEO / founder of Prajna Advisors (Asia) Sdn Bhd. Being a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) practitioner, he has more than a decade of working experience in financial services industry servicing business owners, CEOs, business executives on Personal and Corporate Financial Planning.
Edmund has an existing career exposure as being a mechanical engineer by profession, accountant by training. He has involved in various fields covering Manufacturing Operations, Quality Management, Procurement, Process Engineering, Finance and Business Strategic Planning.
He charted his career path, started working as an associate engineer, subsequently assuming managerial role in Business / Commercial field in a reputable Multinational Company like Haworth Industries, GEC prior to arriving at financial service industry.
His work nature require him to work with business associates in various parts of the world, he has travelled to country like South Africa, Taiwan, Netherlands, Germany, HongKong, Singapore on various business assignments.
While working in financial services industry and dealing with many clients, Edmund observes of the disparity of wealth distribution between the wealthy, middle income or the less priviledged. In many occasions, he realised many consumers are influenced to purchase or buy into some financial products beyond their means to acquire it due to limited financial knowledge they have.
Seeing this development, Edmund founded Prajna Advisors (Asia) Sdn Bhd, which take the ancient Sanscrit word - "Prajna Advisors" is emerged brings out the meaning of Wise, Good Knowing Advisors. The company is founded with the vision to inculcate Financial Wisdom to consumers / people in Malaysia in specific and population in Asia as a whole.
